What we Offer…
Using dressage principals as our basis, we introduce our riders to the basics of horseback riding, exploring diverse aspects of the horse world such as horse shows, rodeo events, obstacle courses, and ground work.
Private Lessons
New students to Echo Valley get started with a private lesson to ensure they are comfortable with the instructor and horse before moving on to group lessons. This lesson is about an hour long.
Group Lessons
After the initial private lesson, students may join 2-5 other students in a group lesson at a regular weekly time. These lessons are about an hour long. Lessons generally involve riding but sometimes we deviate into different fields such as groundwork, basic horsemanship, bathing, etc. If weather does not permit outdoor activities we have a heated & cooled classroom where hippology classes are held – these are fun lessons on the many aspects of the horse world, from animal science, to history of breeds and color genetics, etc. We also have monthly fun shows for students only, where they can showcase their skills for their families in a friendly competitive format! We have a great time here at Echo Valley!
Day Camps
Echo Valley offers Day Camps for new or current students to explore more aspects of the horse world such as feeding & farmwork, equine art, hippology, and model horse crafts, as well as riding! Check our Facebook pages for dates of upcoming camps!
